DDG Charity is pleased to announce several exciting changes taking place this year!

First, DDG's Founder and Executive Director, Susan Muscari Komoto, is welcoming her second child very shortly and will be taking an extended maternity leave for the next 12 months to focus on her family and her for-profit businesses. We could not be more excited to announce that Carmen Coya will be stepping into Susan's role during this time and will be acting as Interim Executive Director and will oversee all external matters of the organization such as fundraising, public relations, and strategic partnerships. Carmen is the President and Chief Media Strategist for Effective Media, DDG's PR Firm of Record since 2007, and she has served as a member of our Advisory Board since 2011. In addition to her role as DDG's Interim Executive Director, she will also be serving as one of the Event Chairs for the 5th Annual DDG Charity Fashion Benefit slated for October 2013. Carmen may be reached at carmen@ddgcharity.org.

Secondly, DDG's Board Chair, Bronni Karatassos, is launching a new business venture and will be taking an extended leave to prepare for her new career in fitness training as well as continuing to teach at her church elementary school part time. We are thrilled to announce that Angela Morris will be stepping into Bronni's role as Interim Board Chair. Angela is the owner of Angela Photography and works as a freelance photographer in the fashion and entertainment industries. Angela has also served as one of DDG's founding Board Members since it transitioned to it's own 501c3 in 2010. In addition to her role as DDG's Interim Board Chair, she will also be serving as one of the Event Chairs for the 5th Annual DDG Charity Fashion Benefit slated for October 2013. Angela may be reached at angela@ddgcharity.org.

Additionally, Carmen and Angela will be joined by returning Event Chair, Anita Leopold, for the  5th Annual DDG Charity Fashion Benefit.
